Hadleigh United 1st team Manager Stuart Crawford praised the efforts of the club's younger players after Hadleigh 1st Team finished mid-table in the Ridgeons League Premier Division. A special mention was made regarding the quality in this years Under 18's squad and all the players were encouraged to continue to make progress with the club at a senior level and the expectation that several will again feature in next years first team. The Under 18's have won their League and now go forward into the Regional Play off match against Histon.
Crawford speaking at the recent senior Presentation evening, explained that at one stage of the campaign he had 13 senior players on the treatment table and for most months it was necessary to give young players a run out in the first team as infuries took their toll.
The Manager felt that given a cleaner bill of health, next season should see Hadleigh in a challenging position near the top of the table. Crawford said most players had signed contracts for next season to show they are committed to the Club.
